Gràcia

Date: 14 Septiembre 2011. Group tour, awesome place. Gràcia is a part of the city located just above the old limits of the military zone (now Barceloneta). It became an industrial hub, and it's now one of the chicest parts of town.

This last one is a room of an old bomb shelter that has been turned into a parking garage. The Gràcians dug it all by hand -- you can tell from the chips in the wall. I wonder how many people park their cars there every day completely ignorant of the history behind these garage walls.
